Let me preface this with I’m not Lazy - no, I’m really not. I’ve seen so many comments on an old video about the Baby Brezza Formula Pro Original about how only lazy people use this machine that it baffles my mind. So many people say this type of machine is not worth the money, but I’ll convince you otherwise, especially about the new and improved Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced.
As new parents, who both continued to work full-time jobs, after our first child was born, we decided we were not getting enough rest with a new baby. Yes, this is normal and even a natural part of being a parent. However, we searched for multiple ways to mitigate our sleep deprivation because we continued working and doing all the other stuff life presented to us.
When my wife came to me about the original Baby Brezza Formula Pro, I thought it was quite pricey and would not be worth the money. I did not budge and we ordered a simple and much cheaper bottle warmer called the Munchkin High Speed Bottle Warmer. Although I was excited about this purchase, my wife still thought that we should have purchased the Formula Pro.
After messing with the Munchkin High Speed Bottle Warmer in the middle of the night when the baby was screaming and needing a bottle, I was fumbling around trying to get the temperature right on this thing. After several nights of this, with the bottle being too hot or too cold, I knew my wife was right...we needed something that would ACTUALLY mitigate our sleep deprivation - this wasn’t doing it. So, I reluctantly ordered the Baby Brezza Formula Pro Original. Did I say my WIFE WAS RIGHT?! Yes, I did - okay good.
Fast forward a few years to our second child - we still had the Formula Pro Original, which warmed and mixed a bottle, but our second child drinks room temperature milk and the original did not dispense room temperature water. Well, I knew what we had to do, so I reached out to Baby Brezza and they graciously sent us a Formula Pro Advanced, with the understanding a YouTube video would be created for it (you can see that video down below). After the agreement, I was ecstatic to receive the Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced.
The redesign of the Formula Pro Advanced is a lot more contemporary and modern looking than the original. The water tank is hidden on the back side of the machine and is easily accessed by turning the machine around. Baby Brezza included wheels on the bottom of this device so turning the machine around could be easily achieved.
One of my favorite things the new Formula Pro Advanced includes is a settings button so the measuring wheel is no longer an issue or even confusing for people to use. This, along with 3 temperature settings and a setting for a range 2-10 ounces creates options for making a perfect bottle for your baby. One temperature setting is perfect for our baby because we can simply make an 8 ounce room temperature bottle using our formula of choice, Similac OptiGro Sensitive.
The Formula Pro Advanced is a lot more intuitive than its predecessor. It practically forces you to clean the funnel after every 4 bottles are made, which ensures the bottle you are making with this machine is mixed perfectly every time.
So, if you are like us and have a new little one and are living busy lives, working in jobs and working on other projects outside of your normal career, the Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advance might be just the answer you are looking for and if that’s the case, it’s definitely worth the money. If people tell you that this is a waste of money or that you are lazy, tell them to shove off and put your nose up, because you know what you need - your cousin’s brother’s aunt’s uncle’s friend fifth removed does not get a vote on your choice of how to spend your money, how to raise your baby and how frequently you shower. You have to do what works best for you and YOUR FAMILY.
